This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit it, Vercel processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time of access and the page requested in server logs, in order to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Vercel Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so data transferred to the USA is covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR); in addition, the agreement includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
Fonts and cookies
All fonts are served by this website itself; no data is sent to Google Fonts. The website sets no cookies.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, also provided by Vercel Inc. under the terms described above, to see how many people visit this website and which pages they read. It works without cookies and does not track you across other websites. For each page view, Vercel records the time, the page address, the referring website, the approximate location (country, region, city), the operating system, the browser and the device type. Visitors are counted by a hash calculated from the request; it is discarded after 24 hours and cannot be traced back to you. We only see aggregated statistics. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding the reach of the project and improving the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Email notification
If you enter your email address and tick the consent box, we store the address and use it only to send you the result of stage one and other news about the Lightfall project. We do not pass it on for advertising. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by emailing vision@project-lightfall.com or through the unsubscribe link in every email.
We use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA) to store your address and send the emails. Resend processes your email address as well as the time and delivery status of the emails. Resend processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Resend is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so the transfer to the USA is covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR); in addition, the agreement includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). If you withdraw your consent, we delete your address within 30 days at the latest.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
